Arthur Pohl
July 14, 1930 — June 22, 2012

Arthur Pohl 81, of Spruce passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at McLaren Regional Hospital in Lapeer.  He was born July 14, 1930 in Troy the son of Frank and Anna Pohl.  He served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He married Leota Carr November 7, 1981.  Mr. Pohl loved fishing and bowling and also enjoyed hunting, playing cards and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by five daughters Nancy (Norm) Braidwood of Almont, Judith (William) Jones of Harrisville, Joyce (Dale) Rondeau of Spruce, Peggy (Richard) West and Julie (John) Hanner of Spruce, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are one sister Marilyn Parker and one sister-in-law Teeny Pohl.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Leota, sisters Ruth Dingell, Lorraine Flowers and Beverly Secosky and one brother Clarence Pohl.

Memorials may be made to Spruce Lutheran Church 1246 E. Spruce Rd., Spruce, MI 48762.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.  To sign the online guestbook please go to www.MuirBrothers.com
